| The G2 and G3 camera heads are equipped with a bolt square on its front shell, allowing attaching of various telescope adapters to the camera. The back focal distance of both series of CCD cameras is the same, so bot series can use the same adapters. Also custom adapters can be made to fulfill non-standard requirements. |

The bolt square on the camera front shell allows attaching of various telescope/lens adapters. The 2" (50.8 mm) barrel adapter is supplied by default. However, user can specify any other adapter as default. Beside the standard adapters for astronomical telescopes (including the T-thread adapter), also adapters for major photographic lens standards are available, especially Canon EOS lens and Nikon lens bayonets. Another adapters can be also bought separately and replaced by the user. Remark: If the mounting standard defines also back focal distance (distance from adapter front plane to detector), the particular adapter is constructed to preserve defined distance (for instance T-thread defines back focal distance to 55 mm, but certain distance is defined also for Pentax (Praktica) thread, for Canon EOS and Nikon bayonets etc.). The bolt square contains four metric M3 threads. Each square side measures 44 mm. Contact us if you want to use some special camera adapter. |
