NGC2020 and NGC2021
The CielAustral group of astro-photographers chose to say goodbye to 2020 and welcome 2021 in a very specific way – by imaging NGC2020 and NGC2021 together.

Taking such detailed image was definitely not easy, it required almost 111 hours of exposure time to acquire both narrow-band and RGB images to be able to compose false color image, showing incredible details in nebula structure, as well as natural-color image showing like the nebula complex could look to humans, providing our eyes are way more sensitive.

The image was acquired with G4-16000 camera on CDK20 telescope (0.5m modified Dall-Kirkham).
